Macey and Todd had a wonderful Elegant and Classic Hotel Colonnade Wedding in Coral Gables, Florida
After being introduced by the bride’s sister and quickly realizing that her family had made a perfect match Macey and Todd fell in love, got engaged and started planning a classic Coral Gables black-tie Hotel Colonnade wedding.
They created a timeless, elegant and romantic day that was filled with such pretty details and joyful sweet moments with the people that they love most.
Congratulations Macey + Todd! It was such an honor to be a part of your day!

How did they meet?
We were set up by my sister (we like to say she handpicked him just for me :)). We met in Boca for dinner at Yardhouse restaurant and initially I didn’t think he was for me, but boy was I mistaken. He was well dressed, polite and extremely chatty (nerves I guess.) It was memorable because he was charming and charismatic and the main reason I wanted to see him again was that he had made great comments about my mother’s cooking.
The Proposal story
I was expecting a proposal soon but didn’t realize it was happening the weekend that it did. My favorite part was his face when he got down on one knee. I was in complete shock and couldn’t believe my dreams were coming true. He took me to where we first met (Boca), had a photographer and both of our families present for the special moment.

What were you looking forward to most on your wedding day?
Seeing Todd’s face when I walk down the aisle on our wedding day at the Hotel Colonnade. Walking down the aisle has been a dream of mine forever, it’s finally coming true.
What about your dress?
I fell in love with my dress simply because it looked stunning on me and it was exactly what I was looking for. Lace and glitz with a neutral undertone. It’s A-line and worn with a cathedral length veil.

Gold and blush with a vintage feel. Everything is classic, romantic, and black tie. For this Hotel Colonnade Wedding, there were lots of candelabras and actual lit candles.
