Vanderbilt Mansion, Fisher Island Wedding | Miami Florida
April 18, 2020
This Fisher Island Wedding featured beautiful green foliage and white flowers with gold accents. The historic details of the Vanderbilt Mansion were the perfect backdrop for the forest-inspired theme designed by Guerdy Abraira. The groom wore a green velvet Tom Ford tux and the bride had a baby breath’s tiara and a free-flowing bouquet that wrapped around her arm.
The couple’s first look took place in front of the Fisher Island Club House and afterward they enjoyed a trip around the island as they met while sailing. On the first day that they met, the groom told his friends that he had met the woman he was going to marry, how very sweet is that!
Their wedding ceremony took place at dusk on the terrace, followed by a refreshing cocktail hour while Matteo Bocelli and the Gipsy Kings entertained the guests. The evening continued with dinner before moving to a third space to dance and celebrate! The Fisher Island Club has so many options for a wedding day, it’s simply gorgeous! From the start to the finish this was a beautiful wedding day full of laughter happiness and love! It was a joy to be a part of the day and to work with such a wonderful team!
