There is something especially romantic about a Miami Beach Botanical Garden Wedding. I think it is one of the most charming and sweet places in South Florida. If you’ve visited then I’m sure that you know what a wonderful spot this is. Working with the venue is a joy and it’s a great spot for a wedding because it has both indoor and outdoor spaces and you can have both your ceremony and reception in one location which creates a much more relaxed pace on a wedding day. Regardless of the time of year, the garden has continuous blooms and each time that I visit I see new foliage and flowers.

For this shoot, I worked with a local designer, Atelier D’Ocon who is a Miami gem. She designs and makes custom bespoke wedding gowns that are especially perfect for a Miami Beach Botanical Garden Wedding since they are designed to complement our steamy Miami climate. The abundant botanicals inspired the ethereal romantic feel and Shelly from Blooming Romance (who is always a joy to work with) provided a perfect floral bouquet to compliment the inspiration. Sebastion from My Groom’s Room completed the look by providing the perfect look for our groom. Below is are some of my favorite images, enjoy!

Pro tip: Whether you are planning a fall, winter, autumn or summer wedding if you’d like to have portraits similar to these it’s important to work with your photographer to plan the time of day that will be most flattering (lightwise) for your bride and groom portraits.
