Allison and Eric planned a simply stunning wedding day at The Addison in Boca Raton. After meeting on E Harmony Eric thought that Allison was intelligent and kind. Allison thought that he was genuine, smart, and handsome. They both felt very comfortable with each other from the start and quickly fell in love! The Addison is one of my favorite Wedding Venues in and I was so excited to make the trip Boca Raton to be a part of this wonderful wedding day! Allison and Eric are such a sweet couple to work with and every single detail of their day was gorgeous! This was the first time I’ve shot at The Addison and I loved all the little details and thoughtful gestures that Allison and Eric put into their day. It was such an honor to be a part of such a beautiful celebration!

Where was your first date?

We met for drinks at the Rebel House in Boca Raton. We connected right away and the conversation flowed nicely. He was a gentleman.

What made you fall in love with your dress it?

I love the full skirt and especially the back!!! As soon as the veil went on, my friends were so excited that it made me love it. It has spaghetti straps and a little sparkle on the top. It’s ivory. The skirt is silk organza…made by Hayley Paige it is from Boca Raton bridal and I thought it was a perfect fit for the Addison.

What is your proposal story?

Allison and I found each other when we least expected. Both of us unprepared for the other at the moment knowing that God works in ways we will never understand. We were quick to find that we were made for one another and were brought to each other at the perfect time just as intended. The proposal was a complete surprise on December 26, 2018. We were visiting a BnB on the Carolinas border, my excuse was a client’s rural property required an onsite meeting. As evening closed after dinner our romantic rustic room softly lit with a cozy fire and wine in our glasses. I asked her to stand as I knelt and asked her to share forever with me. Her yes was relieving as she asked me to do it again and again so she could let it sink in. We agreed to keep it our secret for a few days before sharing our excitement with our parents and families. Our happiness and joy are overflowing with thankfulness for God’s Love, the love we share, the love of our families, and our dearest friends who make our lives complete every day.

What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?

Saying our vows to one another. He can’t wait to see me for the first time!

What has been your favorite part of wedding planning?

Working and spending time together on creative projects and our dance lessons.

What is your wedding style?
The Addison in Boca Raton is a beautiful historic place. It’s iconic. The glorious Banyan tree and architecture drew us here. Colors are blush and burgundy…pops of gold and patina.

Tell me about your florals?

Free-flowing blush and burgundy with greenery. Blush quicksand roses, burgundy snapdragons, spray rubicon roses, white hydrangeas, eucalyptus, laurel. They will be created by Carol at Boca Raton Florists

What song will be played for your first dance?

“Change Your Name” by Brett Young and “I Like Me Better” by Lauve

After going through the wedding planning process, what advice would you offer to newly engaged couples?

Don’t sweat the small stuff…enjoy the journey.
